Photography: pure talent or education?

It's two different things that can lead to the same result (pagiging magaling sa pagkuha ng litrato).

Here's an analogy - Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. They are both legends in the basketball world, but are very different. Magic Johnson is a talented player. He's a natural athlete, gifted kumbaga. He is physically built for sports. Kailangan lang ng konting development for a particular kind of game (basketball). Yun ang "natural talent", so to speak. On the other hand, Larry Bird is a skilled player. Hindi naman sya natural-born athlete, but he made up for it with hard work and lots of practice. Yun naman ay ang pag-aaral ng basketball.

But they had one thing in common - they both loved what they do.

Just like in photography. As long as you enjoy it (hindi napipilitan or nakiki-uso lang), either having a natural eye for beauty and composition or studying hard and practicing harder will give you the same result - great photos.
